The kiddos have been busy building all sorts of exciting things this winter, so when I saw Castles by Valerie Bodden at the library, I knew we’d enjoy it.

We learned about moats, building strong walls, kitchens in the castles, and all sorts of cool stuff.  Soon the builder was building his own and helping his siblings build a castle of their own. 

I love the moat and drawbridge.  🙂

They were so busy that the building went on all afternoon.  🙂

It was all so fun that they didn’t want to clean it up that night.  And we let the castles stay.
