sourdough german pancakes


Some mornings you just need an easy button…batter readied the night before…this recipe makes mornings an absolute breeze

2 cups sourdough starter
3/4 cup raw wheatgerm
1/2 cup coconut flour
8 eggs
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4-1/2 cup raw honey (your preference)
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tbs butter or coconut oil for greasing 8×8  baking pan

1. The night before, mix all but butter in mixer or blender until combined. Leave on counter slightly covered.
2. In the morning, melt butter in baking dish on stovetop on low heat to grease pan.
3. Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes or until knife comes out clean

Top with butter, berries, syrup, nuts…
