As the Holidays are rapidly approaching (such an exciting and whirl-wind time of year!), we’re thinking of handmade gifts. Gifts for the holidays, make-and-takes for our advent activity countdown, and handmade cousin birthday gifts for next year (Xander starts the excitement the New Year, so I’m learning to plan with the Holidays).
There are so many fun projects we’ve made for gifts. Some of our favorites have been photo books/brag books for Grandma. Here’s a confession: I’ve never finished a traditionally darling scrapbook. The photo books just seemed so easy and less messy. Several years ago, I got a glimpse at a digital scrapbook software and mentioned to the designer that, “this was what I needed”:
- no messy glue and supplies
- no cutting and scraps to save
- no cutesy papers and jewel-like additives to store till the right page came along
- just me and my computer…it was a love affair in the making.
- scrapbooks (of course)
- photobooks
- cards
- announcements
- invitations
- videos

Congrats to Amanda!
Thanks again everyone.
Have you seen the Family Album in the Gallery? She used the Kit: Family Album Templates from DigiZines. So pretty. This would make such a nice gift for family. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve been looking for a recommendation for awhile. It looks like great software!

I love that there are lots of free downloads as well as extra ones that you can purchase for the exact look you were going for.
I do a lot of digital scrapbooking in a program called Pages for an Apple computer but there are a few draw backs to the program. One is that I would love to wrap text around a picture and can’t do with my program. It looks like I can do it in this program. It was fun to check out the site and see all the free downloads. I will definitely be downloading soon. Thanks for the info!
Dude! I totally love this – I’ve never done scrapbooking either – the glitter and cutting isn’t my scene, but this is brilliant! I’d love to win this! I like the October paper pack with its subtle images of fall leaves.
