The kiddos helped us put together the artificial tree. As the designer and I would unfold the branches, the explorer would take them to the builder, who would put them on the stand. As they got too high the dancer then took a turn helping.
Of course the decorating was their favorite part…and is a continual project it seems. 🙂 We have designated the bottom half of the tree for their designing and redecorating pleasure.
A few years ago, their Gigi gave them a beautiful book for Christmas: Melrose & Crock, A Christmas to Remember by Emma Chichester Clark. Holiday disappointments, hustle and bustle of the Season, making new friends, trimming the tree, and sharing a holiday to remember together…wonderful!
