development – curried rice


I’m trying to remind myself that not all new recipes need be difficult.  While packing last week, I wanted to spice up our rice.  Halibut, asparagus, and some brown rice with curried spices:

1 1/2 c brown rice
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp curry blend
1/2 tsp ginger
1 cup chicken stock
2 cups water

Combine all in rice cooker and enjoy a bit later. 🙂
