The builder had borrowed “The Aristocrats” from Grandma a few weeks ago, and has been singing, “Everybody Wants to be a Cat” non-stop. So when I came accross “So What is it like to be a Cat” by Karla Kuskin, I knew we needed to read it.
It’s a fun interview-styled story of a young boy asking all sorts of questions to a cat. All about his day, what he enjoys, benefits of being a cat, and so forth. The kiddos really enjoyed it.
Then they gathered round piano and sang their theme song as of late:
“Let me up, Let me up!”
If we have any more kiddos, we’ll need another instrument or two!
