When we work together, if there is a way to be “up,” that is where the kiddos want to be. Even the grower has recently graduated to the counter and top of the washing machine.
We took our first ride of the season yesterday. It’s been nicer lately, so we ventured out. The builder & dancer in the bike trailer as the grower rode behind me in the BabyHawk. A quarter mile into our ride, the wind began to blow hard and the snow came faster. My fingers were cold, and I decided I best put the grower in with his siblings. Good thing it was a short ride! 🙂

I need to clean off the small counter space I have and have Abram sit up there more often. He stands up on a chair sometimes, but the counter is a better relaxing/resting place to be in on the action a lot of the time.

I love the counter. The dancer was so good to sit in her high chair, but the grower has never enjoyed it…maybe now that he’s begun eating he’ll be better. He loves to be in the thick of things with the kiddos. I’ve found that he loves to sit in the sink when we’re in the kitchen. For a while (before he was crawling), he would sit in a drawer near us and play with kitchen gagets.
