Here’s the whole painting. 🙂  Paul and Traci have this beautiful lot that they bought a couple years ago.  It has amazing views.  It was difficult for me to pick which one to paint, for they are all incredible.  The kiddos and I had a nice time going out to the site together.  We went out a couple times and took pictures, walked around.  The first time, was just after an early snowfall, so we went back again, because I thought it best to paint the mountains and hills as they look most of the year.  I definitely think I was more excited about the painting, but I think that’s because I was so nervous…I am more comfortable painting architecture, tractors, etc.  Yet, this landscape painting convinced me that it is worth creating something – no matter how difficult it might seem.
