I’ve been busy painting gifts for babies lately.  It’s been so much fun.  Miley, Sadie, Sarah, and a couple more to go.  For Christmas I’m painting blessing outfits of the newest babies in the designer’s family.  My sister-in-law is having trouble locating her son’s outfit, but sent me his shoes to paint instead.  Can I tell you how excited I am?  So I thought I’d do a similar painting for my cousin Megan’s baby-to-be: Seely Anne.  (Such a lovely name, by the way).

The shoes are the dancer’s that she has since grown out of.  They are a classic style and just precious.  The baby shower is this weekend, but I won’t be able to go, so I’m hoping this painting will dry in time for me to mail it for the big day.  We’ll see…:)
