Finally…Winter has officially arrived! The kiddos were so excited for a snow day.
Excited to get on the gear, to help daddy push the snow…
And get a lesson in the process.
There was snow eating…
Crunch, crunching in boots for the first time for the explorer…
And some sledding. 🙂
Afterwards, the kiddos took a warm bath…and went out again after lunch.
Later we read The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. The perfect snow day about friends, fun snowful activities, and a warm bath. 🙂

MY favorite activities are bundling up for half an hour to go play in the snow (and sweating until you get outside), playing in the snow till it feels your face will fall off and then eating lots of cookies and drinking lots of hot cocoa when you’re done. I just found out my kids and I are going to enjoy a day like that TODAY!
Oh, I am so excited for all of you! And it really does take a half hour to bundle everyone up! 🙂 I know our expeditions will get longer, but sometimes we spend more time getting ready than outside, for someone gets too cold…usually the dancer. It’s soo worth it though! xoxo

Snow days at home are soo much better than getting our friends sick at playgroup! 🙂 I took both AC & G in tonight and they were treated for a virus…hopefully it will stop there. 🙂 luvs!
