There are so many rhyme-ful books out there to enjoy with the kiddos. A new one we found at the library: Max’s Dragon by Kate Banks. The kiddos learned how to use rhymes to expand their imaginative play as well as working together and including friends.
Days later, the builder is still finding dragons in the clouds. 🙂
We have a magnet matching game from our friend Gale, who was a speech pathologist. The kiddos love to match familiar objects through rhymes.
Later we had an easy and delicious snack: chocolate dipped animal crackers:
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips melted in microwave
- 1 cup organic animal crackers
- wax paper
- cookie sheet
- a Fall cold deck for firming chocolate 🙂
The kiddos were excited to share them with the designer at lunch!
