Stormy Afternoon at Dutch Fields

An overcast evening at Dutch Fields. The storm rolled over as I began the painting, small drops of rain quietly falling and filling the air with a sweet, clean aroma.  The painting depicts the Dutch Fields community clubhouse.  I sat just across the street on a rock over looking the pond and waterfall.  The windmill is especially charming.  Sorry for the glare…looks like I need to go and take a new photo.  🙂
