We did some dancing to Putumayo music after an early dinner, but the advent activity highlight was reading Christmas books together. We re-read the kiddos favorites, and then added a new one. Tonight we read a gift from my sweet vt partner, Lisa, Russell’s Christmas Magic by Rob Scotton.
The sheep lover story is charming, the illustrations, whimsical. The kiddos loved the creative layout of each page, and enjoyed tracing their fingers along Russell, the sheep’s hat. The builder really wanted a sleigh like Santa’s. Watching a light loving sheep save Christmas was fun for all of us. Thanks so much Lisa!
