My husband has got me hooked on last fm, which, from what I can tell so far, is a bit like Pandora.  Mostly, we listen to Coldplay…one of our all time favorites.  There’s just something amazing about their style and take on music in general.  So many of their songs make me want to get up and move.  And then there are others that demand reflection.  Really, it doesn’t matter what kind of mood i’m in, I can always find a Coldplay song to fit, lift, or change me.  I’m really excited about their new album and have been pleased with the songs that I’ve heard so far. 

There is a cool page on Coldplay’s site that is like a journal of their journey together.  I first fell in love with Coldplay just before spending the summer of ’02 in Torino, Italy.  I was pleasantly suprised to find that Coldplay’s first concert as Coldplay was in February of ’98.  Not too bad, I’d say. 

So thanks to last fm, I can get my Coldplay fix and listen to other similar artists.
